No, it's more the vibe you get when you walk in and talk to the people who manage the shop. Start with the welcoming party, which consists of Calypso, the extremely lazy black lab. Then mobe on to Wilma Valle, who owns the store and has been an animal care pioneer in Puerto rico.
Valle has been on TV and in the media frequently, championing proper pet care and the integration of a pet into a family for more than 18 years. She is someone who loves what she does and does it with tremendous care and love. She is happy to talk to customers about her experience and expertise.
Then there's the inventory. From collars and chew-toys to some sumptuous dog-beds, this store has a fun jumble of goodies for all kinds of pets. And finally, there are the pets themselves.
