On your last day, return to the earthy embrace of El Yunque. Try out another hiking trail, explore beyond your hotel, and listen to the sweet song of the coquí tree frog. This is your time to let El Yunque impart its special mystique onto you, and appreciate fully that the forest has remained almost unchanged for millennia.

You might want to return to La Mina, or climb the Mount Britton Trail to a lonely tower at the mountain's peak, from where you'll enjoy spectacular panoramic views. Spend your time wisely: El Yunque has its way of leaving a lasting impression, and you might find yourself thinking of the day you can go back.
