From Culebra Island to Vieques Island, the week of negativity continues. But unlike Culebra Island, I had a hard time coming up with reasons not to visit Vieques. After all, what makes these two islands so different is that Vieques is larger and more developed, with a branded luxury resort in the W, it has a fortress and other cultural attractions, and it even has more options for shopping and nightlife.
So instead of focusing on why you shouldn't go to Vieques, I'm going to list a few things not to do when you're here. And all of these come from personal experience (except, full disclosure here, for the horses; I haven't approached a stray horse and been kicked, bitten or otherwise harassed by it; but I've been told it's best to leave them alone, and it seems like sound advice).
