Specifically, AMR's daily flights from the U.S. to Puerto Rico are being slashed from 38 to 18, as of September 3. The airline is eliminating nonstop flights to Puerto Rico from:

  • Baltimore/Washington
  • Fort Lauderdale
  • Newark

  • Los Angeles
Nonstop flights to the island will continue from:
  • Boston
  • Chicago
  • Dallas/Fort Worth
  • Miami
  • New York JFK
  • Philadelphia
  • Hartford
